The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price delivery order on contract N0001917G0013 to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration of Greenlawn, New York (BAE), in support and execution of RTCA DO-181E (dated 17 Mar 2011) compatibility testing of between the APX-123/123A with ACSS TCAS 3000 equipment. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
