The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price delivery order on contract N0001917G0013 to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration of Greenlawn, New York (BAE), for the support of APX-123/123A and MILACAS-XR TPA-100B TCAS Compatibility testing for the DO-181E tests that are currently identified as failures in the MIT-LL report ("Further Data Analysis of Interoperability Test ..." dated 17 May 2019). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
