The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to modify the sole source FY2017-2019 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with firm fixed price options to BAE Systems Information and Electronics of Greenlawn, New York (BAE), for FY2020 - FY2021 requirements for AN/UPX-41(C) Digital Interrogator (DI) production units and Mode 5 change kits to be used to upgrade fielded AN/UPX-37 DI units to AN/UPX-41(C) configuration. Estimated quantities to be procured under this contract are as follows: The FY2020-2021 Options will contain pricing for up to 20 AN/UPX-41(C) DI production units and up to 45 Mode 5 DI Change Kits. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
