In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD is posting a sources sought notice for the continued development and qualification of an Extended Range Fuel System (ERFS) Pump replacement in support of C-2 aircraft sustainment efforts. The ERFS Pumps are used in the fuel bladder during flight. Parts Life Inc. is the only known responsible source that can continue the development of the EFRS pumps capable of delivering on the timeline to support fleet supply issues and future deployment schedules. NAVAIR intends to prepare a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements," to Life Parts, Inc. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is AD25. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336413. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
