The modification will increase the quantity ceiling of H-1 Tech Refresh Mission Computers (TRMC) by approximately 200 units in support of the UH-1Y and AH-1Z aircraft. This action will be awarded on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGC), Woodland Hills, California in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. NGC is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the H-1 aircraft components to design the TRMCs in a timely and cost effective manner.
