The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD has awarded a sole source, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Contract N00019-19-C-0085 to Williams International Co., LLC, 2000 Centerpoint Parkway, Pontiac, MI, for the procurement of studies and related data associated with the F415-WR-400 (WJ38-7) engine and its variants. The procurement includes support for the Government sponsored engine bearing test analysis, analysis of historical engine data, analysis of differences between the WJ38-7 and WJ38-7A engines, and engine familiarization training. The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue a contract to Williams International (WI) Company, LL... The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue a contract to Williams International (WI) Company, LLC of Walled Lake, Michigan. The effort anticipated under this contract is for engineering services in support of the Tactical Tomahawk All-Up-Round (TACTOM AUR) F415-WR-400 (WJ38-7) engine and its variants. WI is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and owns the data rights for the F415 engine. Therefore, WI is the only known source that possesses the required technical knowledge, data, facilities required to assist in engine related studies and expertise required to successfully provide these supplies and services in an accurate and timely manner to meet the required Government schedule for continued Fleet support of this critical war-fighting capability without duplication of costs. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the agency. The data associated with the Engine is export controlled and is not available to foreign sources or representatives.
