The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Contract FA8540-13-D-0002 with Honeywell International (HI), Inc. on an "other than full and open" competition basis for the procurement of twenty-five (25) refurbished EGIs units, or as otherwise appropriated, necessary to install into the UH-1Y aircraft. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2).
