The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-19-G-0028 to Lockheed Martin Corporation, 5600 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32819 for the procurement of 12 production Targeting Sight System (TSS) units and two (2) spare TSS units in support of the AH-1Z aircraft procured via FMS Case BA-P-SAO. This procurement will be made in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(4), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-4(a)(2), in that NAVAIR is directed by the FMS Case BA-P-SAO to procure the TSS directly from original equipment manufacturer, Lockheed Martin Corporation. The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals.
