The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Executive Office (PEO) Air Assault, and Special Mission Programs (A), V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275), intends to award a delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-18-G-0019 to the BAE Systems Controls Inc., of Endicott, New York. NAVAIR intends to procure non-recurring engineering for the software development to integrate the Defensive Weapon System (DWS) Enhancements with the Color Helmet Mounted Display in order to control the gun system of the CV-22 aircraft. This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. BAE Systems Controls Inc., is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the DWS, and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the Fleet. BAE Systems Controls Inc., is the only known company the possesses the technical data, resources and expertise necessary to satisfy the Government's requirements.
