The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), V-22 Osprey program (PMA-275) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source Purchase Order to ITT Cannon, LLC to address the PMA-275's requirement for procurement of a quadrax net-splice to mitigate the current restriction on splicing of quadrax wire. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source bases under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). ITT Cannon, LLC is the only known source that has performed NRE and developed a quadrax net-splice that can be tested and qualified for use in the V-22 Osprey aircraft (PN 320-9547-000). This procurement will be for 25 units with a required delivery date of 16 weeks after award. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunites should contact ITT Cannon, LLC directly.
