The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to solicit a proposal from The Boeing Company for analyses, studies, and non-recurring engineering to support the integration of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Low Band (LB) onto the EA-18G aircraft. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the effort as a sole source contract with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. Award of the contract will be made with authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the prime contractor for EA-18G Aircraft, Boeing has the knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement with sufficient detail that clearly demonstrates the capability to produce the required products in response to this notice. Response without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
