Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to issue a sole source contract pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supp... Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to issue a sole source contract pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), San Diego, CA, will be to provide sustaining engineering, maintenance and logistics support for the Triton MQ-4C Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The period of performance will include a 12-month base period and two 12-month options. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, integrator, and producer of the MQ-4C Triton air vehicles and ground stations. Therefore, NGSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge of the Triton design, operation, and maintenance to successfully provide the necessary engineering, systems integration, and sustainment support. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only.
