POSTED 19 JUN 2020: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD anticipates awarding a sole source delivery order under existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0015 to Orbital Sciences Corporation, Launch Vehicle Division (OSC), 1575 South Price Road, Chandler, AZ 85286 for Integrated Logistics Support and Sustaining Systems Engineering for the hardware and software in support of the GQM-163A. It is anticipated the resulting DO will be a combination of Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract line items. The anticipated period of performance is 12 months. Contract Award is anticipated for the first quarter of fiscal year 2021. The GQM-163A ground launched aerial target system emulates the anti-ship cruise missile in support of fleet training and weapon system test and evaluation. The anticipated contract will fulfill the needs of the U.S. Navy. GENERAL INFORMATION: OSC is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the GQM-163A Coyote aerial target. As the sole integrator of their systems, OSC is the only contractor with requisite knowledge, experience, proprietary data rights to meet the Government’s requirements for the GQM163A SSST systems.
