The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends to issue a cost-plus fixed fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-19-G-0008 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Aero, Fort Worth TX to support Phase I planning and Phase 1A execution of the F-35 JPO Government and Contracted-Support Services (CSS) inventory of 100% Plant Inventory and Support Equipment located locations to include, but not limited to at Lockheed Martin Corporation Plants at Forth Worth, Palmdale, and Marietta. Contract award is anticipated for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019. This order supports the F-35 U.S. Services. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
