NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for finding a vendor that can provive an Mobile Vehicle Barrier Maintenance for Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB). The 377 MSG/PKA at KAFB seeks sources to provide the following: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventative monthly maintenance and emergency maintenance within 72 hours as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for NATSAKA barriers, including all lights, warning signals, safety and control devices currently employed at two installation control points except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. Please see the attached PWS for Mobile Vehicle Barrier Maintenance for additional details regarding service to be performed and desired outcome. INSTRUCTIONS: All businesses capable of providing this service are invited to respond electronically. Responses shall include company name, address, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size using the anticipated NAICS code 561621, size standard $22 million. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 5 pages and should show the ability to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventative monthly maintenance and emergency maintenance within 72 hours as defined in the PWS for NATSAKA barriers. To help the Government understand and plan for the costs associated with this project, responses shall also include a ballpark estimate for the costs of the services. This shall not be construed as a binding request for quote.
