This sources sought is strictly for market research pursposes only. There is no award guarenteed by responding to this. We have a Master Fuel Meter (Liquid Controls - Model No. M-60-2) that requires annual certification/calibration. The Master Meter is required to be calibrated and certified IAW T.O. 37A-1-101 para 4.1.12 “Meter Validation/Calibration (Val/Cal). Activities not possessing a master meter may use a prover tank as an alternate method. Val/Cal limits are ±1/2 gallon for each 100 gallons dispensed. Requirements: a. Val/Cal of meters will be accomplished annually by using a calibrated and certified master meter. b. Meter Val/Cal will be accomplished under normal operating pressures and at flow rates prescribed in the applicable technical directive for the end item of equipment. c. Liquid used to test and calibrate meters should be near the same temperature of the liquid to be measured. d. Meters should be calibrated any time their accuracy is doubtful. e. Ensure all safety wire/seals are installed after adjustments are made to prevent tampering of meter.” The Master Meter is located at Air Base 201 Agadez, Niger. Depending on the situation, we may decide to ship the meter to the contractor, or we may require the contractor to come and certify the meter here. Once again, this is just market research, and we are simply trying to see if there are interested and capable companies that can fulfill this need.
