This announcement is considered Market Research in accordance with FAR 10. This is not a solicitation for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this RFI will be used for informational purposes only. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise for future business with the Government. DLA Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA anticipates soliciting a competitive procurement for the MC Women's Green Coat: NSN: 8410-01-413-2165 - (PGC: 02271), Military Specification: MIL-C-29427, Pattern Date: 5 September 2007. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery-type contract to a single awardee. The period of performance is a 12 month base period with four (4) exercisable 12 month option terms. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option term for the Coats, belts and Keepers are listed below. Destination will be Travis Association for the Blind located in Austin, TX. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 315240 – Women’s, Girls and Infants’ Cut and Sew Apparel Manufacturing. Small business size standards matched to industry NAICS codes are published by the Small Business Administration and are available at http://www.sba.gov/content/table-small-business-size-standards. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for an award. Representations and certifications must also be on record. The Production Lead Time (PLT) for the initial and subsequent orders will be 120 days after contract award/delivery order issuance. The material to be used for MC Women's Green Coats is, Cloth, MC, Gab green, Shade # 2212, NSN: 8301-01-247-6550. The approximate material price for this procurement is $19.91 per yard.
