The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking firms that have the capability to provide construction services to mobilizing to the Manistee South Breakwater, Manistee, MI, and removal of existing armor stone and construction of a Steel Sheet Pile (SSP) encapsulation of the existing timber crib structure. Voids in encapsulation are to be filled with graded stone. A concrete cap is to be placed on top of the (SSP) structure and armor stone placed at the toe of the sheet pile. Project also, includes clean-up and demobilization This Sources Sought announcement is for planning and market research purpose only. The results of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, (other heavy and civil engineering construction, which has a small business size standard of 39.5 million. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), or Information for Bid (IFB). Requirement: The responses received to this notice shall be in summary format and shall not exceed five (5) pages, including the attached response form. Source Sought Information is located in this Source Sought notice on http://www.sam.gov. (See attachment). Information: Qualified companies, are encouraged to respond regardless of their size or socio-economic status.
