This solicitation is for a Construction Contract to renovate the interior of building 1614. All work will be done IAW the SOW dated 01 July 2022, which is included in the attachments section of this posting. The work to be performed is under North American Classification System (NAICS) 236220 with the size standard of $39.5M. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Disclosure of the Magnitude of Project in accordance with (IAW) FAR 36.204 is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The general scope of the contract is to renovate the interior of the northeast end of Building 1614, which includes architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and various building alarm systems. Electronic proposals are due on 9 September 2022 at 4:30PM EDT. A site visit will take place on 22 August 2022 at 11:00AM EDT. Please see attachment 23 for site visit information. Questions regarding the RFP are due NLT 4:30PM EDT on 26 August 2022. This RFP is issued in accordance with (IAW) FAR 52.232-18 AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. *Solicitation - Amendment 01 adds information about bonds and magnitude of construction to cover sheet, as well as adding the 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds-Construction clause to the clauses section. *Ms. Nicole Quigley will no longer be apart of the Government team when proposals are due. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom Air Force Base, AFLCMC/PZIA anticipates contracting for the repair of AFLCMC Acquisition Facility Building 1614 at Hanscom Air Force Base. The contract will have a base plus two option CLINs. The Contractor shall perform the following: Base Bid – B1614 Renovation Option 1 – Add Alternate Suite 01-01 Option 2 – Clean Agent Suppression System w/Early Smoke Detection System The Government anticipates awarding a single award contract to fulfill this requirement. The magnitude of this requirement is more than $10,000,000.00. The anticipated term of this contract will be 365 days (12 months) with two option CLINs. The resulting contract is anticipated to be awarded as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 236220 (size standard: $39.5M). This is not a request for proposals at this time. This is a Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) for a potential Construction Contract at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB), MA. The purpose of this Sources Sought/RFI is to conduct market research in order to determine whether responsible sources exist and if this effort can be executed through a competitive process. This Sources Sought/RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought/RFI or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the anticipated price is more than $10,000,000.00. The general scope of this project includes the renovation of about 82K SF of existing administrative space into ICD 705 compliant administrative space. The work to be completed includes the demolition of existing wall partitions, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and communications systems. Construction work includes complete interior fit out in compliance with ICD 705 standards and construction of ICD 705 compliant wall assemblies, replacement of the existing HVAC system, replacement of the existing interior electrical distribution system, replacement of the existing fire alarm and mass notification system, replacement of the existing fire suppression systems, replacement of all interior finishes, and replacement of the existing communications systems. Project site is located within an existing multistory administrative facility located at Hanscom, AFB.
