***The corresponding solicitation IFB number for this requirement is FA301619BA007. Please refer to the IFB number if interested in submitting a bid.*** The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the repair and replacement of the existing roof for building 1249. The work includes removal of the existing roof system to include insulation and the vapor barrier down to the roof substrate. The contractor shall remove all gutters, flashing, splash blocks, fascia, downspouts, and soffit. The roof will be replaced with a new built-up roof system to include insulation, all associated flashing, fascia, soffit, vents, gutters, downspouts and splash blocks. A total roof replacement is required. The 502D Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio Texas intends to award a contract with a 65 day cumulative period of performance. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $250,000 and $500,000. NOTES: 1. The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on or about 15 August 2019, at http://www.fbo.gov. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is 13 September 2019. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site www.fbo.gov. 3. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount. However, contractors shall only be responsible for providing bonding for the base amount. 4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. 5. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and the product service code is: Z2AA - Repair or Alteration of Office Buildings. 6. There is no fee for this solicitation.
