MN USPFO CRTC Annual Scrap Metal Recycling
The Minnesota Army National Guard at Camp Ripley (Little Falls, MN) seeks scrap metal removal services for an operation averaging 237,090 pounds annually over the past five years. Payment will be based on an agreed percentage of the market index price on the removal date, minus roll-off container change-out fees, with monthly transaction reports documenting each pickup. The contractor must supply three roll-off containers of 20–30 cubic yards at the Solid Waste Transfer Station, Ammunition Supply Point, and USPFO Warehouse, and remove material within 5 calendar days of notice that a container is full. Because scaling is unavailable at Camp Ripley, the contractor must weigh material after removal and submit a monthly report to the Government POC. Payment for scrap picked up in a month is due within the first 15 days of the following month by certified check or money order payable to “US Treasury” and sent to the USPFO–Minnesota address at Camp Ripley.
