This opportunity involves the sale of 45,000 pounds of scrap brass fired small arms cartridges (.50 caliber and below), located at the Material Recycling Facility, Building 978, MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The government reserves the right to vary the quantity by 10 percent, and award will be given to the highest responsive and responsible bidder. The buyer must be a U.S. citizen eligible for export licenses and must make a 50% deposit by certified or company check prior to pick-up, with the remaining balance due within 15 days of invoicing. The successful bidder must contact MCB CAM LEJ-QRP within 4 business days of award to arrange payment and pick-up, which must occur between 8:00am and 1:00pm, Monday through Thursday, excluding federal holidays.
