Scrap Lead Acid Batteries
The U.S. Government is selling approximately 40,000 pounds of palletized scrap lead-acid batteries, with a quantity variance of up to 10%, located at Building 901 Michael Road, MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The successful bidder must be a U.S. citizen eligible for export licenses and will be awarded to the highest responsive bidder. The buyer must make a 20% deposit prior to pickup, with final payment due within 15 days of invoice, and is solely responsible for all transportation, liability, and environmental compliance. All material must be picked up within 15 days of award, between 7:00am and 1:00pm Monday through Thursday, using DOT-approved vehicles from the specified base location. The buyer assumes all risk and liability for the dangerous property and must arrange for base access, while the government provides no warranties and reserves the right to reject all bids.
