The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Buchanan has a requirement for the Puchase and Installation (including removing existing equipment and related electrical components) of one new 1,000kW generator with fuel thank EPA Rating Tier 2 , at Fort Buchanan Puerto Rico. The intent of the Sources Sought is to identify any/all small businesses that can comply with the requirement and with the Non-manufacturer rule IAW 19.505(c). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ONLY SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INFORMATION AT THIS TIME. The intended NACIS code for the requirement is 335312 - Motor and Generator Manufacturing. Generator should comply with the minimum specifications listed below: Voltage: 277/480 Three-Phase Frequency: 60 Hertz Rated Watts: 1,000kW Fuel Type: Diesel Tank Capacity: 24 hours at full load, 4,000 Gallons. Rated Amps: 1,504 Amps Decibel Rating @ 7m: 75 Max Hour Meter. Transfer Switch: Automatic, NEMA 3R- 480v Circuit Breaker Size: 1,600 Amps Cooling System: Liquid or Air Cooled Grade Type: Emergency Brushless Excitation UL 2200 Compliance EPA Certified Tier 2 Minimum Digital Control Panel NFPA 99 and 110 compliance Digital Microprocessor with display for full system status phase sensing, +- .25% digital voltage regulation Waterproof connections Programmable I/O Full range standby operation; programmable auto crank, Emergency stop, Auto-Off Manual Switch +- .25% frequency regulation Alarm Log Selectable low-speed exercise Fuel level indicator Emergency vent Battery charger Emergency stop switch At least 2 years of warranty Weatherproof aluminum enclosure, sound attenuated Manufacturer tests EPA certification of conformity Exhaust emission statement Furnish and install one (1) new 4,000 gallons minimum double-wall base tank, UL 142 compliance. Contractor shall be responsible for the required diesel for testing/acceptance. Government will fill the tank eventually. Furnish one (1) new NEMA 3R Enclosed Circuit Breaker (ECB), 1,600 amperes, 277/480 volts, 3 phase. Installation of this new breaker shall be in the existing main breaker enclosure located on drawings. Interest vendors that can comply with the above should update the listing of NAICS codes at FAR Clauses 52.219-1 and 52.212-3 under Representation and Certifications in www.sam.gov as required and submit a copy of the updated SAM information to carla.m.rosario-rivera.civ@army.mil and maria.d.otero4.civ@army.mil
