Mathematical Algorithm Development and Computational Analysis in Support of MDA Flight Test Support

Notice ID:MDA26ABRFI01

The MDA is conducting market research via a Sources Sought notice to identify capable alternative sources for mathematical algorithm development and computational analysis supporting MDA flight tests, as a follow-on requirement within the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense portfolio. Work includes post-intercept debris generation and dynamic behavior models for multi-threaded/massively parallel supercomputing; threat engagement debris and kill assessment; pre- and post-mission analysis of high strain-rate material deformation, projection, and trajectory simulations using Velodyne/hydro-structural solver or equal and RavenCFD; algorithm integration into MDA models; and support to test/evaluation working groups and mission planning reviews. The future awardee must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS for MDA flight test events and analysis support, with personnel/facility clearances up to Top Secret, safeguarding at Secret, and CMMC Level 2 self-certification. This is not a solicitation, no contract will be awarded from it, and responses are voluntary at respondent expense. Interested vendors should provide a capability statement of no more than 10 pages covering vendor demographics, software/tool and configuration expertise, key personnel, relevant high strain-rate experience, data/discrepancy methodologies, and subcontractor/teaming past performance as applicable; proprietary information must be marked and classified information must not be submitted.
