April 20, 2022 - RFI Amendment 01: The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has posted an amendment to the Request for Information for Terminal Missile Defense Layer Enhancement. This amendment revises the response due date to June 24, 2022 and incorporates additional administrative changes. Changes are identified by a line in the left margin of the attachment titled "MDA22THRFI01_Terminal Missile Defense Layer Enhancement_Rev01". For inquires related to this RFI, please submit unclassified questions to MDATerminalDefenseRFI@mda.mil and classified questions to MDATerminalDefenseRFI@mda.smil.mil. --------------------------------------------------------- The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Project Office is conducting market research to determine the industry’s capabilities and readiness to enhance the Missile Defense System (MDS) terminal defense layer. This is a market research announcement solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Request for Information (RFI) does not commit the Government to establish an Agreement for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, MDA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept proposals offered in response to this RFI. Respondents are advised that the US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the respondent’s expense. Please see attached RFI. Responses are due no later than June 24, 2022, 4:00 p.m. CDT.
