This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought # MDA22-DE-RFI02 is a follow-on RFI to MDA21-DE-RFI01 issued on September 7, 2021. Both RFIs enable the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to conduct market research to determine potential strategies and industry capabilities to execute Modeling and Simulation (M&S) in support of the Missile Defense System (MDS). Please refer to both RFIs . The purpose of this follow-on RFI/Sources Sought, MDA22-DE-RFI02, is to provide additional information to industry, and receive information from industry, to supplement what was already provided in response to MDA RFI MDA21-DE-RFI01, issued September 7, 2021. The initial RFI (Enclosure 1) targeted NAICS was 541511- Custom Computer Programming. Based on feedback from Industry and further analysis, the Government is considering NAICS code 541715 – Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) for the preponderance of the M&S Futures Acquisition requirements. The Government reserves the right to choose a NAICS in accordance with applicable procurement regulations.
