Participation is strictly voluntary. The Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) at Quantico Marine Base, Quantico, VA, has an anticipated requirement to procure the replacement of sound mitigation panels and ceiling tiles for a conference room and an additional room in another office. The scope of work would entail the removal and disposal of the existing sound proofing wall panels and ceiling tiles and the installation of panels and tiles that would fit around the new AV equipment. The anticipated NAICS is 238310- Drywall and Insulation Contractors. The NAICS may change. Measurements of the walls. are in inches and are approximate (photos will follow). Wall 1 (conference room)- 166.5”L x 101” H Wall 2 (conference room)- 166.5”L x 101”H Ceiling tiles to cover- 306”L x 166.5” L Wall 3 (in main office)- 93”L x 101”H Interested respondents should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 20 pages in length, single spaced, Times New Roman 12-point font) clearly demonstrating their firm’s ability to perform the services. A generic capability statement is not acceptable. Please review the requirements listed below. At a minimum, the package shall address the following: Capability to produce the sound proofing material covered in fabric to mitigate noise leaving the room. Can select sections of the sound proofing material be added and/or removed to adjust for different measurements/placement of new A/V equipment if size and/or placement were to change? (example: if larger TVs were installed in the future) Explanation of the product offered and the level of noise that will be prevented. Can sound proofing ceiling tiles be installed using the current ceiling grid or will a new one be needed. Small Business Size Standard and under which NAICS manufacturing is considered. Buy American Act and Berry Amendment compliance. Price estimate (inclusive of all materials, delivery, installation, and removal/disposal of existing sound proofing walls and ceiling tiles).
