INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE C47 Placid Lassie The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to The Tunison Foundation, Inc., 3 Juliana Dr Ste 1 Oxford, CT, 06478-1043 for the purchase of Placid Lassie C-47 aerial demonstrations for the Maxwell AFB 2020 Beyond the Horizon Air and Space Show. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 711510 and the small business size standard is $8.0 M. Description of the Requirement: The Tunison Foundation, Inc. will provide C-47 Placid Lassie to perform paratroop operations with Liberty Jump Team as well as all personnel, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary for aerial demonstrations and/or aircraft static display services. IMPORTANT NOTES: This is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this intent to sole source (ISS). Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this ISS. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm-fixed price contract for a base period of performance of 16-19 April 2020 .
