The work performed under this contract requires the offeror to furnish, install and test (EFI&T) a new 48-strand single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (FOC) from Building (B) 603 to B1852 & B4148; as well as consolidate three Communications Rooms into one centralized Communication Area at Bldg 746 at NAS Pensacola, FL as specified in the Statement of Objectives, Specifications, and as shown in the drawings. This acquisition will be conducted as a Total Small Business (SB) set aside, utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Procedures. Interested SB sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210. The size standard is $19 Million. The Product Services Code (PSC) is Z2PZ. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $500,000.00 $1,000,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the Contract Opportunities Website: https://www.sam.gov on/or around 29 July 2024 with a tentative closing date of 28 August 2024. The contract period of performance will be 180 days if just the Install FOC from B603 to B1852, and B4148 project is awarded or 90 days if just the Communications Room consoliation at B746 is awarded. If both projects are awarded the PoP will be 270 calendar days. Performance will commence 10 days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) DoD Database prior to any subsequent award. SAM Registration may be accomplished online at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a UEI number.
