The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a sole-source, five-year IDIQ contract to Saab, Inc. for comprehensive lifecycle sustainment of the Force on Force Training System-Next (FoFTS-Next). The period of performance is estimated to be from 1 September 2026 through 31 August 2031. Services will support instrumented force-on-force training across seven geographic locations. The justification for the sole-source award is that Saab, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer, is determined to be the only company capable of providing the required support due to its proprietary data and technical expertise.
