The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a sole-source, six-month contract extension to Saab, Inc. for comprehensive lifecycle sustainment services for the Force-on-Force Training System-Next (FoFTS-Next). The period of performance is estimated to be from 1 July 2026 through 31 December 2026. Services include logistics, training, engineering, and software support for the system, which is used for instrumented force-on-force training across seven geographic locations. The government has determined that Saab, Inc., as the Original Equipment Manufacturer, is the only company currently capable of providing this support due to its exclusive technical data and expertise.
