This action falls under the simplified acquisition threshold. A supporting Justification and Approval will not be posted to FBO. The applicable NAICS code is 333314, Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; no solicitation is forthcoming. The determination not to compete this contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
