The Marine Corps is assessing industry capability to provide COTS tactical camera systems, lenses, and accessories through a Hardware-as-a-Service operating lease model. The effort aims to establish a sustainable, multi-year “Evergreen” technology refresh cycle for the Marine Corps’ Visual Information Acquisition System Family of Systems. The HaaS vendor would supply latest-generation commercial equipment, manage the technology lifecycle, and execute a mandatory 36-month hardware refresh for all leased components. Vendors should have experience in leasing, COTS technology integration, tactical kitting, and lifecycle management for Department of War customers.
