This Request for Information (RFI) initiates market research under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10.002(b)(2)(iii). This is not a Request for Proposals. No final solicitation documents exist at this time. This RFI does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Government will take procurement action in this matter. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information. Program Manager, Engineer Systems (PM ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research for potential sources to conduct a Service Life Extension (SLEP) on the 624 John Deere loader known as the Tractor, Rubber Tired Articulated Steering, Multipurpose (TRAM). The TRAM SLEP will provide the Marine Corps with an extended service life, and improvements to lift capability. The Marine Corps estimates a service life extension of approximately 514 TRAMs. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be released in 4th Quarter Fiscal Year 2024. The contract is expected to be awarded in 1st Quarter Fiscal Year 2025. The contract is likely to be a 5-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
