The Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office (JIFCO) Quantico, VA, currently has a requirement to obtain contractor services to provide research and development support services. The scope of the potential contract will include accomplishing research and technology development; technical, scientific, and program analyses; systems integration and systems engineering tasks. It will provide for deliverables encompassing experimental research (including bioeffects research); test and evaluation; prototype development and demonstration; and computational modeling and simulation. JIFCO plans to award a single, cost plus fixed fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with one base year and four 1-year ordering periods, for a total of five 1-year ordering periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology). This procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition. An award will be made to a single vendor offering on all contract line items utilizing the Best Value Trade-Off approach. Technical requirements will be set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the RFP. The complete RFP package, including amendments, should be downloaded and reviewed prior to submitting a response. The RFP will be available online at https://www.sam.gov/ and will include all documents of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be issued. It is the responsibility of those responding to the RFP to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY POINT DURING THE RFP PROCESS.
