This RFI is a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential solutions prior to issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government will not reimburse for any information received from potential sources in response to this RFI. Any costs incurred responding to this RFI will be solely at the Respondent’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future competition. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals or a commitment by the Government. DESCRIPTION Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Portfolio Manager, Command Element Systems, Program Manager Communications Systems, Product Manager Satellite Communications (SATCOM) seeks industry feedback on the draft performance specification (PSPEC) , draft statement of work (SOW), and other specific industry capabilities for the Marine Corps Wideband SATCOM (MCWS)-Light/Heavy (MCWS-L/H) solution. The feedback gathered from this effort will be compiled and used to inform the final solicitation for this contracting effort.
