Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager, Ammunition is conducting market research to determine industry capabilities in providing approximately 5,000 linked XM950 30x113mm percussion-fired Training/Practice Cartridges; and approximately 1600 linked XM1198 30x113mm percussion-fired High Explosive Dual Purpose – Self Destruct Cartridges. The percussion-fired XM950 Training/Practice Cartridge is converted from the original electrically-primed 30x113mm DoDIC B118. The ammunition is required in the May 2020 timeframe. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332993. All contractors who provide goods / services to the DoD must be registered in System for Award Management, www.sam.gov. Interested parties may identify their capability to meet the requirement by submitting information regarding cartridge technical and performance characteristics, and production capability, no later than 6 February 2020 to janice.harvey@usmc.mil and mark.sanderson@usmc.mil. Interested parties should include business size and socio-economic information.
