This Request for Information (RFI) initiates market research under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is NOT an official Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government has no obligation to procure items as a result of this RFI, and has no obligation to pay for information responding to this RFI. Vendors should mark any proprietary information clearly and appropriately. No classified information should be submitted in response to this RFI. 2. PURPOSE. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), seeks to identify potential sources to provide 222 combo sets of published soft cover versions of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Each combo set consists of one FAR and one DFAR current as of at least July 2019. These current editions are needed in order for contracting and legal personnel to procure goods and services pursuant to the regulations codified in these reference books. 3. SUBMISSION REQUEST. Please include the following information in the response: a. A photo of the FAR and DFARs combo set b. Business DUNS & Cage Code c. Business size for NAICS 511130 - Book Publishers. ALSO, please indicate whether the company is a small business under this NAICS code. Also indicate if the business is 8(a) certified, disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, woman-owned, HUB Zone, Native American, or any other Small Business Administration approved designation; d. SAM Expiration Date e. QUOTE: Provide a quote to deliver 222 FAR and DFAR combo sets no later than 10 days after a purchase order award. Delivery locations: 207 sets to Quantico, VA, 7 sets to Camp Pendleton, CA, and 8 sets to Orlando, FL. f. Existing contracts (i.e. GSA, other agency contracts, etc.) where the items addressed in this RFI may be available. 4. PROPRIETARY DATA. The Government may use information received from this RFI to inform future Marine Corps requirements. Vendors deciding to submit competition-sensitive or proprietary information bear sole responsibility for marking the information for appropriate safeguarding. Proprietary information will be protected from unauthorized disclosure as required by Subsection 27 of the Office of Procurement Policy Act as amended (41 U.S.C. 423) (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), as implemented in the FAR.
