INTRODUCTION: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation. U.S. Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) located in Okinawa, Japan is seeking written responses with information to assist the Government with identifying potential sources that are interested in and capable of performance the work described below. REQUIREMENT: Marine Corps Installation Pacific (MCIPAC) – Marine Corps Base Camp Butler (MCBB) RCO is contemplating soliciting a requirement for the Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Calibration/Certification/Repair service and ship items back to 3D MEDLOG located at Marine Corps Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Equipment List are attached for review by potential offerors. Potential Offerors shall be required to perform services on all equipment listed. DELIVERY TO: Door-To-Door, to physical address of 3D MEDLOG on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan SUBMITTAL: Response to this Request for Information (RFI) shall not exceed 10 pages, including cover letter, discussion and contract information. Please respond to this RFI if interested in submitting a quote for the follow on solicitation no later than 13 February 2020 at 10:00, Japan Standard Time (JST) / 12 February 2020 at 20:00, Eastern Standard Time (EST). No evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents; however, the Government does reserve the right to contact any respondent and/or respondent reference to obtain additional information. At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
