The Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC), Regional Contracting Office (RCO) intends to extend the services for 3 months to the incumbent CACI-Inc, Federal, 1470 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly VA 20151-4206, United States, for GSA GWAC Task Order M67400-16-F-0023 in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. The purpose of this request is to extend the services necessary to prevent a lapse of services due to the renewal of the incumbent contract. FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services is included in the contract however, the six month extension was not evaluated at the time of contract award. The purpose of this extension is to maintain continuity by obtaining the services from the incumbent provider for the minimum period of time necessary while procuring follow-on contract.
