This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This is a brand name acquisition for Assa Abloy VingCard Classic RFID Locks and Accessories with the Brand Name Justification attached. Only prospective Contractor quoting the specified brand will be considered for award. Quotes for substitute products will not be evaluated. All questions concerning this procurement, either technical or contractual must be submitted in writing, via email, to the Contracting Office. The deadline for submittal of follow up questions regarding this solicitation is 8:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST) on August 29, 2025 . The Government’s responses will be provided as an amendment to the solicitation. No direct exchanges between the technical representative and a prospective Contractor shall be conducted unless it is deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer. Questions shall be submitted via email to ayesha.enriquez.ph@usmc.mil and geronimo.lopez.mil@usmc.mil. Quotes must be received no later than September 15, 2025, by 0800 JST. Quotes received after this time frame shall not be considered for award. The Government will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the Government. The prospective contractor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for award. The prospective Contractor agrees to hold the prices in its quote firm for 90 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of quotes.
