Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms operates and maintains military training range areas established on U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) controlled federal lands within San Bernardino County, California. Radio repeaters, telemetry equipment, and microwave equipment are located at strategic mountaintop relay communication sites. The relay sites are positioned at altitudes ranging from 800 to 6,000 feet, and most of the relay sites are inaccessible by ground vehicles due to steep mountainous and desert terrain within the boundaries of MCAGCC. Rotary wing transportation and operational services are required to transport maintenance personnel, parts, and equipment within the weight limits of the helicopter to the remote relay communication sites. Contractor shall provide aircrew, ground personnel, supplies, ancillary support services and equipment to perform dedicated and/or ad hoc Federal Aviation Regulation 135 airlift operations (at both military and commercial airports/airfields/landing zones). Operations include the movement of passengers and light cargo (or combination thereof).
