The government is requesting the capabilities for the purchase of one (1) : Powered Pallet Strapping System, meeting the following minimum salient characteristics: Battery powered at least 24V Come with a Battery Charger Unit must be portable and have rollers for easy movement from area to area. Must be able to with stand mild outside climate conditions. Must use synthetic strapping. Strapping size required is ½” to 5/8” in width due to strength needs. Due to weight concerns no metal strapping is wanted. Machine must have an built in adjustable automatic Sealing Head that is able to reach 1800ft lbs of tension strength. Machine must be able to be operated by remote or joystick for ease of use. Machine must not require any bending and stooping to operate. Machine must have capability to perform a minimum of 100 pallet strappings per day and as much as 350 per day on a single charge for production efficiency purposes. Machine must be able to band a pallet that is 90” wide and 90” in height. Machine must come with an onsite training course for employees from a certified product expert/dealer or a representative from the OEM company of said machine.
