The Plans and Data Support services contract provides the full range and depth of planning logistics services and software systems support for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) which includes the Maritime Prepositioning Forces Program, MCPP-Norway and Marine Expeditionary Unit Augmentation Program-Kuwait. Intrinsic to the Planning effort are the data support services known as the Marine Corps Prepositioning Information Center (MCPIC). MCPIC is the Government Owned web-based system that primarily serves as a warehouse storage system for all Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs related information and is a platform to bridge logistics automated information technologies and radio frequency identification infrastructure with other Marine Corps and DoD logistical systems. Additionally, MCPIC is an integral tool used for inventory, accountability and visibility for Marine Corps Logistics Command.
