This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 562211 size standard of $41.5M. An Offeror’s submission of a quote does not constitute a contract or authorize work to begin. This document is not legally binding and does not commit the US Government in any way. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20220428. In accordance with FAR 12.102(c), when a policy in another part is inconsistent with FAR Part 12, Part 12 shall take precedence. Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Contracts Department is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Solvent Recycling System (Replacing Solvent Recycler A-48V). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 562211 -Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Synopsis, nor will it reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government’s acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any industry input as a result of this announcement.
