The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC), Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1930), intends to solicit and contract a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery contract on a sole source basis to Trijicon, Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The OEM’s access to original parts and their proprietary data are essential to producing the required product. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to accomplish this effort without the OEM’s participation. Any potential source may contact the persons indicated above to discuss their ability to supply this part for future requirements. Trijicon, Inc., (Cage 0FL29), 49385 Shafer Avenue, Wixom, MI 48393-2869 for the remanufacture of the following: CLIN 0001: Rifle Combat Optics: AN/PVQ-31B (M4), NSN: 1240-01-534-1114, AN/PVQ-31A (A4), NSN: 1240-01-534-1114, and (M7), NSN: 1240-01-645-3117 for a base period of twelve months and four-one year ordering period. North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 333314 Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Delivery schedule is requested. FOB Destination pricing is preferred. Ship to information will be provided. NO TECHNICAL DATA IS AVAILABLE. The Government will consider all responses from capable interested offerors received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action. Such offers must be supported by information to enable the government to evaluate an offeror's ability to provide this item without the government providing technical data. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. Responses received from this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
