Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to provide the Government’s response to vendor questions received and to further define the Government’s requirement. The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) has a requirement to procure Chemicals to ensure safe clean potable water for the Water Treatment Plant and the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant aboard MCAS Cherry Point, NC, in accordance with the purchase description of the solicitation. The proposed contract action is available for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325180. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors must also be registered in the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) invoicing system at https://piee.eb.mil in order to invoice the Government and accept payment. The complete Request for Quotation, including a detailed Purchase Description is attached. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. All questions relating to this requirement must be addresses to the Contract Department, Contract Specialist via email to patwanda.brown@usmc.mil by 12:00 pm 30 April 2025, which will be answered by the posting of an amendment. Any questions received after the stated deadline will not be addressed.

It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. The proposed acquisition is available for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325180. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures. MCIEAST Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, seeks qualified vendors to provide non-personal support services for chemicals aboard MCAS Cherry Point, NC for the Water Treatment Plant and the Industrial Wastewater Plant; to execute the Base and Command’s mission in accordance with the draft Performance Work Statement provided. This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought only. There is no solicitation available at this time. The RFI is issued for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The intended contract shall be for a one (1) year base period with an additional two (2) Option Year periods. The submission of information is for planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services. Draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. The information will not be returned, and no compensation will be provided from any response to this announcement. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly.
