This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice Marine Corps Installations East, Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement to conduct Contractor Vetting Office (CVO) and commercial contractor vehicle escort services (Non-Security) upon Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, NC. In support of numerous on-going construction projects on MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River, the requirement will consist of one (1) person filling the position of On-Site Management Support and twenty (20) persons as Support Personnel. A total of twenty-one (21) persons are needed to fulfill requirement. The requirement is for a base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) option periods consisting of twelve (12) months each to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm fixed price contract. The award will be based on price and other factors. The proposed acquisition is amended and now set-aside for 100% for Small Business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561210. The NAICS industry description is Facilities Support Services. The Small Business size standard for this requirement is $47.0 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13.5 (Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services). This Pre-Solicitation notice is not a request for quotes. The coming solicitation will be posted on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at www.Sam.gov. The Government will inform all interested parties who reply to this notice, when the coming solicitation is posted. It is the responsibility of the offerer to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov.
