This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice Contrating Department, Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST), Camp Lejeune, NC have a requirement to procure three (3) Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) modules with installation. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. Acceptable brands are (and those equal to) Eaton Model 9PXM12S20K and Eaton Model SU05NCCC-18000UC Required Salient Characteristics: Rating: 20 kVA / 18 kW Input: 110/220V, 120/240V, single phase, hardwired Output: 110/220V, 120/240V, single phase, hardwired Runtime: Minimum of 6 minutes at full load, Minimum of 17 minutes at half load Self-contained rack-mount for power modules and batteries included Hot-swappable battery and power modules, each weighing less than 30 pounds Installed dimensions of chassis not to exceed 48”H x 20”W x 36”D It is the Government’s intent to issue a firm fixed price contract for this requirement. The proposed acquisition will be set aside 100% for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for these requirements is 335999, The NAICS Industry Description is All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The size standard for this requirement is 600 employees. The Governement will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The Pre-Solicitation Notice is not a request for quotes. The Solicitation (M6700124Q1198) will be posted on or about three (3) days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at https://www.sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor the website for the solicitation and any associated amendments. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required at www.sam.gov/, to do business with the federal Government. Businesses will be assigned a Commercial and Governemt Entities (CAGE) Code & a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number via the SAM website. Companies must ensure that annual representations and certifications are current within the SAM database. Companies must also be registered with Procurement Intergrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at https://piee.eb.mil.
